This is a 10ft RJ-45 (male) to RJ-45 (male) Red shielded twisted pair CMP (Plenum-rated) TAA compliant copper patch cable. The Cat6 cable is a standardized twisted pair cable for Ethernet or other physical network layers. Cat6 standards specify performance of up to 250MHz. This PVC jacketed cable is best suited for LANs or SANs, and is recommended for connection between fiber patch panels, hubs, switches, media converters and routers. This plenum cable is the only cable allowed in spaces defined as air plenums, such as raised flooring systems and air handling ducts. Plenum cables must self-extinguish and prevent re-ignition. A shielded twisted pair patch cable offers both a higher bandwidth and a more durable cable strength than an unshielded twisted pair cable. This patch cable is Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant.
