This is a 3-conductor (grounded) AC power cord designed for use with switched-mode power supplies, such as those used for laptop computers, monitors, etc. It features a standard 3-prong US-style NEMA 5-15 plug at one end and an IEC 60320 C5 plug, also known as a "cloverleaf" or "Mickey Mouse®" plug, at the other end.
